Principal's Message
It is my pleasure to warmly welcome you to Dela Montessori School, a private school, which educates children from the ages of 20 months to 15 years of age (creche to JHS3).
At Dela Montessori, we apply the principles of the Montessori philosophy in both our methodology and school culture, delivering a well-rounded, child-centered education that supports academic excellence, character development, and lifelong learning that is accepted by the Ghana Education service.
Dela began in mountain View Bortianor in Accra by a family who were looking for the best for children from all walks of life. The institution was founded out of a shared desire to provide children with an education that respects their individuality, curiosity, and natural love for learning. What began as a vision has grown into a vibrant school community made up of passionate educators and supportive families, all united by a commitment to excellence in education.
Our team is driven by talent, passion, hard work, and a continuous desire for improvement. We believe in inspiring our educators to grow professionally while enriching the academic and social environment of our learners. Today, Dela Montessori proudly serves a growing community of 100 plus students and families who share and uphold the values and vision of the school.
At Dela Montessori, every child is valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Learning is guided through personalized and developmentally appropriate approaches that foster confidence, independence, initiative, and responsibility. These qualities prepare our learners not only for academic success but also to become compassionate, responsible individuals who can positively contribute to society.
We place great importance in partnership with families, working closely together to support each child’s holistic development. By nurturing resilience, empathy, and self-confidence, we aim to prepare our learners for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
